INTERESTED IN HISTORIC PRESERVATION IN GILPIN COUNTY?

Gilpin County is seeking an individual to serve on the Historic Preservation Advisory Commission (HAC). This commission, advisory to the Board of County Commissioners, makes recommendations on preservation issues, programs, policies, landmark designations and stay-of-demolition reviews. Professionals in preservation-related disciplines will be given preference. Residency in the County is not required; a mileage reimbursement is available. HAC’s public meetings are held in the Gilpin County Courthouse, 203 Eureka Street in Central City, at 7:00 p.m., quarterly on the third Tuesday of the month and as needed. Address letters of interest and a brief résumé to: Board of County Commissioners, PO Box 366, Central City, CO 80427, or via email to scate@gilpincounty.org by September 18, 2018.
